You Owe Yourself a Luxury Caribbean Vacation

Cold temperatures, freezing rain, sleet and snow have been the weatherman’s litany for weeks. Your wardrobe has consisted of fleece and wool for months. You’re tired of the cold weather and long for tee shirts and sandals. You want to see clear water and sandy beaches. You’re ready to go on a luxury Caribbean vacation.

It all awaits you in the Caribbean. Warm tropical breezes, sandy beaches that shine white in the sunshine. Swimming, sailing, diving and just being lazy lying all in the sun all await you in the Caribbean. All you desire is to have someone pamper you and fulfill your wishes. Charter boats are available to go deep sea fishing for Marlin or Sailfish. As you troll ballyhoo behind the boat a marlin hits the bait and launches itself completely out of the crystal clear blue waters. At lunch time the basket prepared for you by the chef at the resort is opened. Inside you find cracked conch salad and Kalik beer; two Bahamian favorites. You’re not ready to return to the winter just yet.

Luxury vacation resorts dot the Caribbean. The Bahamas, the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico and the Turks & Caicos Islands provide some of the most prominent. Your desires, wishes and dreams can be accomplished with ease at any of these tropical paradises.

The Bahamas are a 30 - 45 minutes of flying time from any of the international airports in Florida. Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach can all provide service to the Bahamas. Two islands in the chain provide luxury vacation resort accommodations. The world renowned Four Seasons resort lies on Great Exuma. Paradise Island plays host to both The One & Only Club and The Cove Atlantis. Luxury Caribbean vacations are created at all three of these resorts.

If you desire a more remote spot for your luxury Caribbean vacation you should consider the Turks & Caicos Islands in the Windward Islands chain. Located out on the Turks & Caicos are three superlative luxury Caribbean vacation resorts. These are Amanyara, Grace Bay Club and Parrot Cay. These three luxury vacation resorts will provide the getaway that any jaded traveler will appreciate.

The Yucatan Peninsula is a “must go to” location for any Caribbean vacation. The Yucatan has become a destination for college students on spring break. While the Yucatan is a spring break hotspot, it also provides resorts that will provide a luxury Caribbean vacation to the most discriminating traveler.

The Riviera Maya is the most exclusive and desired portion of the Yucatan. This section of the Yucatan plays host to some of the most impressive vacation resorts in the world. These include: Fairmont Mayakoba, Hotel Esencia, The Mandarin Oriental, Maroma Resort and Spa, Paraiso de la Bonita & Thalasso, the Tides and the Rosewood Myakoba. The grandeur of the Mayan culture still lives on in these luxury Caribbean vacation resorts. Each of these resorts is unique and each offers many varied amenities.

When you finally get so tired of the winter weather that you can’t stand it, it’s time to book a luxury Caribbean vacation. Just get yourself ready to toss the fleece and wool and pack your silk dress and bikini and head off on a luxury Caribbean vacation?
