These pavilions are nestled in vegetation along the shoreline.
Arrival to a pavilion is via an entrance terrace that houses two daybeds. Sliding glass doors open to reveal the room’s interior featuring a central king-size bed behind which sits a writing desk and chair.Positioned in the corner of the room is a reading chair with a footstool and an entertainment unit including a flat screen television and DVD/CD player with surround sound. This combined bedroom and living room also opens onto two additional terraces, the first with twin banquettes for lounging or dining and the second with a sunken table with cushions, bolsters and two sunning mats.

Pavilion 115

Pavilion 115 enjoys sweeping ocean vistas and has direct access to a sandy beach cove.

Beach Villa - Four Bedroom

Alongside the pavilions, Amanyara embraces a select number of private Villa Homes which are available for rent. Each Villa sits on little over an acre and a half of lush landscape and they emulate, on a more intimate scale, the Amanyara resort as a whole. The three, four or five bedroom Villas are sited either along the oceanfront; overlooking a tranquil pond or nestled in the island vegetation, some featuring internal reflecting ponds. The Villas are centred by either a rectangular or square infinity edged swimming pool in black volcanic rock surrounded by extensive hardwood decking. The free-standing bedroom pavilions are similar to those of the resort with some featuring outdoor bathtubs and showers. A large living and dining pavilion, outdoor dining sala and fully-equipped kitchen are included in each Villa, and a personal cook and housekeeper take care of all guests’ needs. Villas come with two four-seater golf buggies and guests can enjoy access to the resort’s facilities and services.

Overview

Amanyara is located along the coast of Northwest Point, adjacent to Malcolm's Beach on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. Comprised of just eight islands and 41 small cays, of which only eight are inhabited, the territory is some 925km south-east of Miami, and 160km north of the Dominican Republic, lying just outside the Caribbean Sea in the Atlantic Ocean.

PAVILLIONS:
All timber-shingled pavilions are identical in layout and design. An overhanging roofline creates shaded outdoor areas on the pavilion’s three terraces which are accessible through large sliding glass doors that open to catch the cooling sea breezes. Arrival to a pavilion is via an entrance terrace that houses two daybeds. Beyond is a cabinet that contains a personal bar with refreshments. Positioned in the corners of the room are a reading chair with a footstool and an entertainment unit comprising a flat screen television and DVD/CD player with surround sound system. This combined bedroom and living room also opens onto two additional terraces, the first with twin banquettes for lounging or dining and the second featuring a sunken table with cushions and bolsters and two sunning mats on an exposed timber terrace.

The bathroom area is separated from the room by a decorative wooden screen and features an elegant free-standing bathtub with an adjacent ottoman. Twin vanities are located on either side of the bathroom as well as a separate ‘rain shower’ room and toilet. Accessed from the bathroom, there is a dressing area with hanging and storage space and a personal safe. Measuring a total of 1,250ft² (116m²), the pavilions capture a tropical aesthetic by incorporating a simple palette of colours and materials. The floor is polished sand-coloured terrazzo, with teak inlays and sisal matting used throughout.

Facilities & General Information

Swimming pool
The Swimming Pool is located within an expansive terrace that provides uninterrupted views of the ocean. Measuring 50m by 8m, there are two lounging salas on either end from which shallow entries to the pool also provide for water lounging. A third lounging sala is located beyond the pool and closer to the oceanfront. Pairs of sunloungers are positioned along the timber deck and an outdoor shower area is provided.

Laundry
Please place any items you wish to have laundered in the hamper in your closet. Your housekeeper will collect these items when servicing your room and return them within 24 hours.

Private Bar
All soft drinks, beers and snacks in the Private Bar are complimentary. Spirits are an additional charge. Your Private Bar will be restocked daily. Should you wish to enjoy a bottle of champagne or wine in your Pavilion, please dial “2” for Private Dining.

Room Amenities
If you prefer a softer pillow (100% goose down or hypo-allergenic) or mattress pad, please contact your Guest Assistant.

Tennis
Two clay Har-tru tennis courts are available for day and night play up until 8pm. To reserve a court or book a lesson with our tennis trainers, please contact your Guest Assistant. Complimentary rackets, balls and shoes are available.

Fitness Center
Overlooking the tennis courts, the Fitness Center offers a full range of cardio-vascular equipment and resistance training machines. The Fitness Center is open from 6:30am until 8pm. Our on-call Fitness Exercise Specialists are available to provide a full workout in the privacy of your Pavilion, at the beach or in the Fitness Center. Specialized programs include: beach workouts, water fitness, sport specific training, golf strength & flexibility, pre/post natal fitness and Pilates. Please dial “1” to make an appointment.

Screening Room
Amanyara’s 30-seat multimedia screening room is located next to the Reception Pavilion. Movies are shown on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9:30pm. Please contact your Guest Assistant for the weekly schedule, or if you would like to view a movie at another time of the day.

Transportation
Private cars are available for trips outside of Amanyara at a rate of $75 per hour, plus 10% service charge.

Photographer
A professional photographer is available should you wish to have an informal shoot around the resort or on the beach.

Pool Salas
The three salas around the pool are available for day-time lounging. We ask that you kindly do not reserve them by placing personal items on the cushions.

Watersports at Amanyara

Snorkeling
The snorkeling at Amanyara extends around its coastline which is part of the famed Northwest Point National Marine Park. The white sandy beach, iron-shore rocky coves and turquoise-blue colors of the North Atlantic Ocean provide the perfect backdrop to explore the coral reef and discover the abundant marine life that it supports. Hawksbill turtles, grouper, snappers and dolphins are all commonly found sited just offshore, as well as a variety of tropical fish.
Snorkel equipment is available from the beach attendants and complimentary snorkel trips depart from the beach daily (weather permitting).

Scuba Diving
Just off-shore from Amanyara, the Northwest Point National Marine Park offers some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean, with vertical walls beginning at a depth of 35ft and dropping down to over 4000ft. As one descends down the wall, big fish can be sited including Tuna, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Reef sharks, Eagle rays and even Humpback whales as they pass through on their winter migration to the southern realms of the Bahamian archipelago. Dive sites such as Shark Hotel, Amphitheater, The Crack and The Hole in the Wall provide stunning diving for the beginner and expert diver alike. The fully equipped Dive Center is operated by ‘Ocean Vibes.’ Their professional team of dive-masters and instructors offer a range of dive courses from introductory to advanced specialty courses. Please inquire with your Guest Assistant or the Dive Center directly.

Sailing
Amanyara has two Hobie catamarans (16 foot and 13 foot). The breeze generally originates from the southeast from May to September, providing excellent conditions for sailing, with gentle breezes and unruffled waters. From October through April, stronger breezes can prevail from the Northeast, bringing cooler temperatures and waves.

Boogie Boarding
During the winter months wavy conditions can sometimes be experienced and boogie boards are available from the beach attendants.

Kayaking
Amanyara has both double and single kayaks available for guests’ use. The shores of Malcolm’s Beach and the adjacent iron-shore rock coastline provides a picturesque backdrop for kayaking, with many coves, inlets and deserted beaches for guests to explore.

With the exception of Scuba Diving, all the above mentioned water sports are complimentary to Amanyara guests.
Advice should be sought on sea conditions from Amanyara’s Beach staff before undertaking water activities from Malcolm’s Beach.

Amanyara's Villa Offer

Replicating the resort on a more intimate scale are the Villa Homes.
